Our Annual General Meeting will take place from 7.30pm on Thu 16th March at The Green Hut, Harlow Avenue HG2 0AS.
As well as the usual Pinewoods updates we will also be joined by a member of the councils parks team to update on their maintenance plans and how they can continue to support The Pinewoods.
We will be taking part again in “The Great British Spring Clean” with a litter pick starting at 10am to 11.30am on Sunday 26th March and all volunteers are welcome.
We will be meeting at the Council Nurseries off Harlow Moor Road and equipment will be provided but you may also want to bring gloves.
Danone, the owners of Harrogate Spring Water, have now submitted updated plans to develop on Rotary Wood, part of The Pinewoods.
A new advent walk has been launched this week by The Pinewoods Conservation Group. Twenty four numbered elf doors have been placed throughout the woods to form an advent walk with some additional festive surprises.
Our next Pinewoods Woodland Working group session will be held on Sunday 3rd March 24.
We will meet at layby on Harlow Moor Road. This is on the right, just beyond the main entrance to the gardens. Assemble next to the footpath that leads into Pinewoods. We aim to finish by 1230.
Task: we shall continue cutting back vegetation from the official paths.
