Ecology Report for Rotary Wood Mon, 2020-03-23 12:46

We have now received our commissioned Ecology Report that outlines the full impact of the planned development of Rotary Wood. This report has been submitted to Harrogate Council as additional information to support our objection.

Balsam Bash! Thu, 2020-07-30 12:31

This morning we ventured into the woods with some of our intrepid volunteers to do some balsam bashing! It was raining but it did not deter us and we had great fun….

We are grateful to the team at Priestley International Centre for Climate, University of Leeds, especially Anna Gugan & Professor Piers M. Forster, for their research into the carbon loss at Rotary Wood.

How to Object To Rotary Wood Plans Tue, 2021-03-02 12:47

Following the rejection of the recent planning variation for a larger extension to the Harrogate Spring Water bottling plant into Rotary Wood, we can now confirm that the original application is now being reviewed by Harrogate Council. The full plans for the original extension were submitted in May 2020 along with the variation for the larger extension. (As a reminder outline planning for the original extension was approved in May 2017 with a number of strict condition.) We held any decision on those full plans until we knew the outcome of the application for the larger site. However, we now expect the planning committee to be asked to approve the original application over the next few months.
